Consent to Jurisdiction. Hay una diferencia entre notificación y emplazamiento. En una notificación hace saber al demandado que se ha presentado una demanda en su contra y que esta ha sido admitida por el juez. En un emplazamiento se le otorga al demandado un plazo para que conteste la demanda.
